W|N Joins With Grow Utah Ventures, Zions Bank, USTAR, Ballard Spahr and CFO Solutions In Sponsoring the "Concept to Company" Contest

W|N will participate with Grow Utah Ventures, Zions Bank, USTAR, Ballard Spahr and CFO Solutions in continuing to sponsor the "Concept to Company" contest. "Concept to Company" competitions are ongoing innovation contests held in various regions across the state of Utah to encourage and support Utah's entrepreneurs and innovators in moving their technologies and ideas from a conceptual stage to commercial companies. Throughout the year several competitions are held across the state. Each competition focuses on a different industry and matches the unique entrepreneurial strengths of the particular region.

Since 2008, competitions have been held in Ogden/Davis County (Outdoor Recreation Equipment and Products), Logan/the Uintah Basin (Energy Technologies), Southern Utah (General Technology), and Salt Lake (Medical Technologies). 2010 competitions which are planned for this year will include Digital Media (Salt Lake) and General Technology (Southern Utah). The winner of each competition receives $10,000 in cash and $25,000 in services, with runners up receiving a $5,000 cash award and $12,000 in services from the sponsoring firms and organizations.
